Meet Children at ROS

Mamatha lost her ailing mother when she was too small. Her father, Durjodhan, a casual labourer had been trying to make a living by buying and selling cows in the village market in Raigarh District of Orissa (Odisha) where they lived. He remarried and that added to the miseries of little Mamatha. She was often ignored and mistreated by her step mother. Poor care, ill treatment and harassment made her sick and develop a lot of serious health problems. A pastor who knew her brought her to Rose of Sharon at Chennai.
